Welcome to our Journey

Thanks for stopping by to learn about my journey with my new partner, Aspire.

My name is Samantha and I've been a horse lover my entire life. It is a passion that struck me early on and has never left. A couple years ago I discovered Parelli Natural Horsemanship and am now happily playing in level three/four. Parelli has helped me understand many things about my own mental, emotional, and physical fitness. It's also inspired me to never stop learning, dreaming, and trying. I attribute much of my success with horses to Parelli and the rewards I receive when I am with horses are now immeasurable.

On January 30th I purchased my new partner, and future super star, Aspire. She's a coming 2 year old AQHA filly...the icing on the cake? She's palomino! Fat kids drool over the shelves in a candy store the way I drool over palominos. Not only is she athletic and pretty but she has a sweet personality. She's got so much to offer and I can't wait to be the leader she needs to expand on her confidence, curiosity, and playfulness.

This blog will be my way of verbalizing and reflecting on our time together and help me track our progress. I hope you will enjoy reading in it and sharing in the journey.
